Yezdi has just launched its refreshed Adventure motorcycle in June 2025, bringing new looks, better features, and a competitive price. This updated model aims to be a great choice for riders who need a bike for both city commutes and exciting adventures.

What’s New and Why It Matters for You

The 2025 Yezdi Adventure has some key changes that make it more user-friendly:

• Brighter Lights: The new twin-LED headlight (instead of the old single one) and twin-LED taillights mean better visibility for you, especially at night, and also make the bike more noticeable to others on the road.
• More Control: The new switchable traction control is a big safety upgrade. This helps prevent the rear wheel from slipping, especially on loose gravel, wet roads, or during quick acceleration. It works with the three ABS modes (Road, Rain, Off-Road), giving you more confidence to handle different road conditions.
• Connected Riding: The digital display now has Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation. This means you can get directions right on your bike’s screen, so you don’t have to constantly check your phone. There’s also a USB-C charging port to keep your devices powered up on the go.
• Comfortable Journeys: The adjustable taller windscreen helps reduce wind blast on highways, making long rides more comfortable. Plus, the improved seat with thicker padding and a new cover should help with comfort during those longer stretches in the saddle.

How It Handles Daily Life and Adventures

While the Yezdi Adventure is designed for touring, here’s what to expect in daily use:

• Engine Performance: The 334cc engine is proven and now meets the latest pollution standards (OBD2). It delivers good power (around 29.6 PS) and torque (29.6 Nm). It’s generally good for highway cruising around 100-110 km/h, and the assist and slipper clutch make gear changes smoother, which is a blessing in city traffic.
• City Riding: While it’s an adventure bike, it can handle city traffic. However, some riders have noted that the engine can still feel a bit hot on the right leg in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Its 220mm ground clearance is excellent for dealing with India’s notorious potholes and uneven roads.
• Off-Roading: The 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels (good for absorbing bumps) and the healthy ground clearance make it capable off-road. The Off-Road ABS mode, which often allows the rear wheel to lock up, can be useful for experienced off-roaders looking for more control in certain situations.
• Mileage: Expect a real-world mileage of around 30-35 kmpl, depending on your riding style and conditions. This is decent for a 334cc adventure bike. The 15.5-liter fuel tank means you can cover a good distance between fuel stops.
• Braking: The ByBre brakes with dual-channel ABS offer good stopping power. The different ABS modes adjust how quickly the ABS kicks in, which is helpful for various riding conditions.
• Vibrations: Some riders of the previous model noted vibrations at higher RPMs, especially in the handlebars and footpegs. Yezdi claims to have improved refinement, but it’s worth taking a test ride to see how it feels for you.

Maintenance and Ownership

• Service Costs: Yezdi offers free services initially (often covering labour for the first few services), where you typically only pay for parts like engine oil, filters, and chain lubrication. For example, the first service might cost around Rs. 1,800-2,000. Subsequent services will involve part replacements like air filters, brake pads, and sometimes the chain sprocket, which can increase costs, but generally, Yezdi’s service costs are considered reasonable.
• Service Network and Spares: While the service network might not be as widespread as some older brands, Yezdi is expanding. However, sometimes spare parts might need to be ordered, which can cause slight delays.

Accessories: Yezdi offers a range of official accessories, including engine guards, auxiliary lights, phone mounts, and both hard (metal) and soft luggage options (like tank bags, soft panniers, and tail bags). These can significantly enhance the bike’s touring capability and protection.
